About this independent e-guide
Australiae Guide is an independent rebuild of australiaeguide.com.au: visitor essays, heritage URLs, no live prices or shopping-blog leftovers.
Australiae Guide is the Capes-depth rebuild of australiaeguide.com.au. The domain began in the early 2000s as a free Australian visitor e-guide — PHP town files, activity pages, a printable “definitive” PDF in 2008 under Eguide Pty Ltd. Wayback still holds that layer. We rewrote it. We did not scrape it.
We keep clean heritage paths. PHP, query-string and satellite files 301 once onto modern hubs. The 2019–2024 shopping and lead-gen posts — blinds, bongs, hens nights, boarding schools — return 410. That is a restoration, not nostalgia.
Callum Sherwood is the editorial contact at callum.sherwood.seo@gmail.com. We cannot issue an ETA, hold a campervan or speak for Anangu, Butchulla or any other Traditional Owners. Parks and Home Affairs still own the rules.
The stack is Next.js 15 and Keystatic. Bodies render through Markdoc.transform. The footer disclaimer is on every public page. This domain sits in a fleet of independent Australian visitor guides.
Facts on this page are drawn from public sources including https://www.australia.com/, https://whc.unesco.org/en/statesparties/au, https://immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/visas/getting-a-visa/visa-finder. Historic australiaeguide.com.au PHP and WordPress paths inform the URL map — not live prices, rankings or 2019–2024 shopping posts. Confirm visas, park alerts and opening hours on the official page before you travel.
What visitors always ask
Are you Tourism Australia?
No. Tourism Australia’s consumer site is australia.com. We are an independent editorial guide on a historic domain.
