Australia does not have waterfalls of the size of some of those in Africa or South America but it does have a number of ones that are in very attractive settings and well worth viewing.
Aspley Falls
The Aspley falls are in Oxley Rivers National Park at Walcham, New South Wales. The falls can be viewed from an observation deck 50metres up.
Horseshoe Falls
A waterfall in the Blue Mountains around Govett's Leap and close to Blackheath.
Ellenborough Falls
A long drop waterfall where water plunges 160 metres and found near Wauchope in New South Wales.
Fitzroy Falls
A popular waterfall in the Morton National Park on New South Wales.
Jim Jim Falls
Spectacular in the wet season but hard to reach and the easy way to view is by air, in the dry season not so good, Kakadu National Park.
Josephine Falls
A beautiful waterfall that has been used in many adverts and located in the Wooroonooran National Park at Babinda, Queensland.
Wallaman Falls
The longest waterfall in Australia that falls 305metres into a pool, at Ingham in Queensland.
