Omeo

Omeo town center is located along the Day Avenue that lies on the slope of a hill. This gives great views of the town.

The A.M Pearson Historical Park contains the original police lock up and town courthouse. There is a large recreation park from Day Avenue to Livingstone Creek with a swimming area, rotunda and walking tracks.

Omeo has a regional information center in the German Cuckoo Clock Shop.

Fishing is a very popular pastime due to the large number of creeks and waterways that are found around Omeo. Less than an hours drive are the alpine resorts of Mount Hotham and Dinner Plain.
