The Nullarbor National Park borders the Great Australian Bight where whale watchers can enjoy some magnificent sea creatures. You can travel through millions of hectares of mostly flat and arid land as the word Nullarbor means ‘no trees'.
This area is well named. The Nullarbor Plain stretches forever but the road is sealed and driving is easy but, as some might say, boring. In the park, the land has collapsed in places showing the caves below.
It is a unique landscape with plenty of wildlife including the southern hairy-nosed wombat. This park is different.
