Narrandera

Narrandera is located at the junctions of Newell and Sturt Highways and it is located on the Murrumbidgee River. There are several national trust classified buildings in Narrandera. It is located 570 km South West of Sydney and is the gateway to the Murrumbidgee Irrigation Area.

Attractions in the Town
Lake Talbot Aquatic Playground and Lake Dr.Antiques in Lamer Street are the two lakes present in Narrandera. NSW Forestry tree nursery is located on Broad Street; this nursery is closed on Weekends. Tiger Moth Memorial is located on Newell Highway. At Narrandera Park a 5.8-m playable guiter is present along with Tiget moth Memorial, park side cottage and information centre. Two foot town heritage tour and Bundidgerry walking track through the Nature Reserve also called as Koalas and Blue Arrow Scenic drive.

Attractions in the Area
There is an Inland Fisheries research station situated at 6 km to the south ear has visitors centre and is open from Monday to Friday. Berembed Weir is located 40 km to the south east of Narrendera which is an ideal location for Picnicking.
