If visiting caves appeals, the Naracoorte National Park is well worth a visit. There are tours into the caves where fossil remains dating back millions of years have been discovered. You can see where thousands of bats call home. The park is in the south-east corner of SA near the Victorian border.
So important are these caves that the site now has a World Heritage Listing. This is a family-friendly park with camping and caravan sites. At sunset you should see kangaroos, possums, echidnas and sugar-gliders. The walking tracks are easy for all adventurers.
