Lincoln National Park is located just 15km south of Port Lincoln on the South Eastern edge of the Eyre Peninsula. The park encompasses some of the finest coastal scenery in South Australia and boasts some unique natural features. The park is rich in vegetation, wildlife and Aboriginal and European cultural history.
Lincoln's landscapes include sweeping sandy beaches, sand dunes, rugged clifftops, limestone hills, expanses of woodland and sheltered coves, all of which can be explored by foot, bicycle or car. It makes the perfect destination for those who simply enjoy the great outdoors, with activities such as swimming, surfing, boating and bushwalking.
There is an information centre located at the main entrance, where visitors can pick up maps and information sheets and camping permits. Basic camping grounds are located throughout the park. Some have pit toilets and rainwater tanks, whilst others do not. There are no shower facilities located within the park. Surfleet Cove and September Beach camping grounds are best suited to caravans.
