Holbrook

Holbrook is a well known stock breeding centre located 521 km to the south west of Sydney on the Hume Highway.

Attractions in the town
Bronze statue of Commander N.D.Holbrook and his submarine are present in Holbrook Park located on the Hume Highway. This town was previously called as Germanton and it was later renamed in his honour. Woolpack Inn Museum is located on the Albury Street has bakery, horse drawn vehicles and farm equipment.

Attractions in the Area
3 km to the north of Holbrook at hoolbrook Airport there is Ultralight centre, Flights and instructions available. Hume and Hovell walking track, access to this track is provided through Woomargamea. This walking track is located 15 km to the south of Holbrook. In the month of April one can savior and participate in Beef Fest, this festival is conducted only during even numbered years.  In the month of November visitors can participate in Agricultural festival.
