Village Cinemas Hobart are located at 181 Collins Street, Hobart. There are seven screens in use. Gold Class cinemas are also located here, with three screens. The Gold Class has large recliners with tables and footrests, and food and drink items can be ordered and are brought to your seat. Village Cinemas Hobart is close to a bus stop and there is a car park as well.

Across the bridge in Rosny Park is Village Cinemas Eastlands. There are four screens at this venue. Free parking is available at the site. Buses stop nearby. This cinema is part of the Eastlands Shopping Centre, which includes stores like Big W, Woolworths, Kmart, Donut King and an ABC Shop.

At the corner of Cooper Street and Eady Street in Glenorchy is Village Cinemas Glenorchy. Driving to Village Cinemas Glenorchy is easy with a lot of car parking spaces available in the area, while those taking public transport have a bus stop close to the cinema.

Part of Hobart for around a century, the State Theatre at 375 Elizabeth Street, North Hobart has six cinemas. It first opened in 1914. A licensed cafe bar offers coffee and other drinks and cakes. As well as the usual international blockbuster movies, the State Theatre also shows local Tasmanian and Australian films.
