Healesville is surrounded by mountains, rolling hills and forests that are also matched with the evergrowing number of wineries, fruits and berry farms.

Mt Rael Lodge offers great views of Healesville, Mount Riddel and the surrounding valleys. Mt Rael Lodge is located just off the Yarra Glen road.

In Helaesville, Nicholson Street is where you will find the Grand Hotel which is very historical.

Maroondah Reservoir is just north east of Healesville and offers BBQ and picnic areas with colorful gardens. The dam wall gives a great view of the mountains.

Healesville Sanctuary is 4km south of the town and it opened in 1934. There is a vast collection of birds, mammals and reptiles.

3Km east of Healesville Sanctuary is the Badger Weir Park which has landscaped gardens and walking trails through the forests and fern gullies.
