Gloucester

Gloucester sits at the bottom of the Bucketts Range and the base for Barrington Tops National Park. Gloucester is also known for its gourmet quality Barringtom beef and perch.

Attractions in the town
Belbouri Aboriginal Art centre is present on Hume Street Gloucester. In the month of May Shakespeare festival is organized and in the month of September Mountain Man Triathlon occurs.

Attractions in the area
Gloucester has some excellent fishing grounds for trout and perch. The Bucketts walk is present to the west of the town takes 1 hour 30 minutes return has some good views. 4 km to the south of Gloucester one can witness Scenic flights from Aerodrome. Underground mine tours are also frequented by visitors. Barrington Tops Forest drive offers good views about rain forest walks, picnic spots, etc. Some sections of the road may be covered with Ice and Snow in winter. There are other lookout`s such as Mograni lookout, Kia-ora lookout and Berrico Trig Station.
