Coffin Bay National Park is located 50 km west of Port Lincoln on the southern Eyre Peninsula. From rugged, windswept cliffs, large sand dunes and glorious surf beaches through to sheltered, sandy coves, this 31,000 hectare park offers nature-rich, diverse coastal scenery.
There are many walking trails which allow the even the most inexperienced walkers to enjoy the spectacular coastline. Wildlife you are likely to see includes kangaroos, emu, dolphins, goannas and the mighty albatross. The bays and coastline around the park offer numerous opportunities for swimming, surfing, fishing, kayaking, sailing, scuba diving and windsurfing.
An on-site entry and information station can be found at the park's entrance. There are six camping grounds to choose from, all with basic facilities. Yangie Bay is accessible by 2WD and makes for a very central base for visitors. Access to the majority of the park's area north of Yangie Bay is by 4WD only.
The park's entrance is located near to the township of Coffin Bay.
