Byron Bay , once one of Australia 's secret hideaways, has resisted the hectic pace of life in many parts of Australia today, instead opting to retain its natural beauty and remain a place with a laid-back lifestyle. At this very popular and beautiful beach resort area, you can thoroughly relax with yoga, spas and aromatherapy, enjoy fine dining or a simple meal of fish and chips, have a few quiet drinks watching the stunning sunsets or rave the night away with some of Australia's great musicians in the local pubs and clubs.

Originally catering mainly to backpackers, campers and ‘grey nomads', Byron Bay now also has some four star accommodation, many great restaurants and loads of local activities.
