Business hotels are primarily located in Australia 's larger cities and other urban areas, like the Gold and Sunshine Coasts . They are mainly four or five star hotels which, in addition to things like 24 hour reception and room service, and on-site restaurant, provide facilities useful for people travelling for business reasons.
Accommodation can be in either a single room or an apartment. In addition to facilities normally found in good quality hotels, business hotels may provide such things as an office desk, high speed and/or wireless internet, and phone with voice mail in their rooms. Apartments may also have table and chairs suitable for small meetings.
Features of the hotel complex can include a conference room, and secretarial, business and courier services. Some include an unstaffed business centre where guests can use photocopier, facsimile, computer and printer.
Prices are on a par with other good quality hotels, generally in the range of $130 to $350 per night for a room, and up to $550 for an apartment.
