Blackheath

Blackheath is a beautiful resort town. Blackheath is located at the highest point of Blue Mountains. Blackheath provides spectacular and breathtaking views and is known for its annual Rhododendron festival. Rhododendron festival is celebrated in the month of November.

 

Govett
A statue of a daring bushranger is situated at the centre of the town commemorating the popular myth of Govett.

National parks and wildlife heritage Centre
National parks and wildlife heritage are situated on Govetts leap road, Blackheath. It has interactive display on geology, wildlife, aboriginal and European history of the mountains. This place is also the starting point for Fairfax Heritage track walk.

Evans Lookout
Evans lookout is located 6 km to the east of Blackheath. Evans lookout offers spectacular views of the Grose Valley and 190-m Bridal Veil Falls. Bridal Viell Falls are the single longest drop falls in the mountains.

Mermaid Cave
Mermaid cave is located 4 km south of Blackheath on Megalong Rd.

Mt.Blackheath.
Mt.Blackheath lookout on Mt.Blackheat road. Mt.Blackheath is located 3.6 Km north of teamrooms.

Megalong Australian Heritage
9 km south of Blackheath there is the Megalong Australain Heritage centre which offers horseriding and tourist farm. There are heaps of places for tourists and visitors in and near Blackheath.
