Barraba

Barraba lies in the Manilla River Valley with a backdrop of the Nandewar Ranges close to Mt Kaputar National Park. An old mine town but now the main income is sheep.

Heritage Walk
Follow the heritage walk and see some of the original buildings including the court house and the Commercial Hotel which was used as the coach changing station.

Mt Kaputar National Park
Mt Kapatur is 1510 metres high and provides good views. A highlight in the park is Sawn rocks a basalt cliff with some perpendicular-octagonal shaped rocks that look similar to organ pipes. About 50 km from Barraba.
