Adaminaby

The original Adaminaby was flooded to make Lake Eucumbene and the buildings moved to the present location in the 1950's. The lake is well known for it's trout. Being close to the Selwyn Snowfields makes for a good base for skiiers.


The Big Trout
A large fibreglass trout is in memory to a local angler who tried to drink a gallon of Guiness while fishing and then was pulled into the water by a large trout. The classic " the one that got away".

Meant to be one the easiest places to catch trout. In November is the Snowy Mountains Trout Festival.
